About Raycommonly Heating & Air and How Referrals Work

Who We Are

Raycommonly Heating & Air is a referral service. We help homeowners in New Orleans and the New Orleans area reach independent local HVAC providers when heating or cooling goes wrong.

We want to be clear from the start. We do not repair, install, or replace anything. The providers in our network do that work.

Why This Site Exists

A broken AC in a humid summer is a worry. So is a furnace that quits on a chilly night. Many people don't know who to trust or what to ask. This site gives you a calm place to start, with simple guidance and a way to reach a provider.

We also know that HVAC repair and replacement can be a big expense. It helps to have a few plain facts before you talk to anyone. That is why we keep our guidance short and easy to read.

How Calls Are Routed

When you request an estimate or call, your request goes to a provider in our network who serves your area. You then talk with that provider directly. Any quote, schedule, or agreement is between you and the provider.

Provider availability varies. Some can respond quickly, and others may need more time. Ask them what is realistic for your home and your situation.

What We Look For in Providers

We expect providers in our network to:

  • Be independent businesses that do their own work
  • Explain the problem and the options in plain words
  • Give a written quote before starting a job
  • Treat homeowners with respect and honesty

We are a connector, so you should still ask each provider about their own licensing and insurance. Ask before agreeing to any work.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not perform HVAC work.
  • We do not set provider prices.
  • We do not decide what repair you need.
  • We do not pressure you to hire anyone.

There is no obligation when you ask for an estimate.

How We Are Paid

Providers in our network may pay for the homeowner calls and requests we send them. You do not pay Raycommonly Heating & Air to be connected. Any cost for work comes from the provider, and you should see it in writing first.

Questions to Keep in Mind

A good provider answers questions without rushing you. A red flag is anyone who demands a big payment up front or will not put a price in writing. Take a breath, compare your options, then choose.

It is fine to ask more than one provider for an estimate. It is also fine to ask what is included, what might change the price, and how long the work may take.
